A LORRY driver from Herefordshire has been handed an interim driving ban after he was caught at the wheel while almost three times the limit.
Anatolis Zaicegs entered a guilty plea to one count of driving a motor vehicle while above the alcohol limit when he appeared before magistrates in Northampton in November.
The court heard the 57-year-old had been caught behind the wheel of a heavy goods vehicle while over the drink-drive limit on Upton Valley Way East in Northampton on November 23.
An evidential breath test taken in custody revealed Zaicegs had 103 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, almost three times the legal driving limit of 35 microgrammes.

He was also handed an interim disqualification from driving ahead of his next hearing.
He will appear before magistrates in Northampton for sentencing on January 11.
