A WEATHER warning for ice has been issued for parts of Herefordshire as wintry showers head our way
Temperatures are forecast to drop in the county overnight on Wednesday, with forecasters predicting lows of -4°C.
The Met Office has issued a yellow warning for ice, warning that frequent wintry showers will spread into Northern Ireland through the early hours of Thursday then on to Wales and parts of the West Midlands during the morning.

These will fall on frozen ground in many areas, the Met Office said, leading to the formation of icy stretches on untreated surfaces.
Showers are likely to fall as snow on high ground and perhaps more widely across Wales and the West Midlands during the day, with slight accumulations possible in places.
Western parts of Herefordshire are currently covered by the warning, which is set to come into force at midnight tomorrow and will remain in force until 6pm on December 8.
