TWO primary schools in Herefordshire are closed today after snow hit the county.
Icy conditions moved into Herefordshire at the end of last week, with much of the county seeing snow fall over the weekend.
A weather warning is in force for ice and fog in Herefordshire this morning, with the Met Office warning of freezing fog and patchy ice on untreated surfaces.
Two county primary schools confirmed last night that they would not be opening to pupils today (December 12) due to the conditions.
They said they would be back open on Tuesday.

Closed on Monday December 12, 2022.
"The school is closed due to the lane being compacted with snow and ice," a spokesperson said.
"We hope to get it cleared to open safely on Tuesday. Anyone who can help clear we would be very grateful."
