A HEREFORDSHIRE charity shop was burgled which was "despicable", say volunteers.
West Mercia police said a woman from Leominster was arrested following a burglary at the Hereford and Worcester Animal Rescue shop, High Street, Leominster on Friday, November 11, when cash was stolen.
The woman, previously of good character, was given a police caution in relation to the offence, officers said.

Once issued, a police caution remains on a person's criminal record for life.
A spokesperson from the centre said she was someone it trusted but she disrespected that trust and showed no respect, care or concern for its animals and it is the animals that she stole from.
The money they stole was around £600, said the spokesperson.
"But it's a lot to our rescue and stealing from any charity is just despicable," they said.
