HEREFORDSHIRE firefighters have been called to a horse trapped in a ditch.
Crews from Leominster and Bromyard fire stations were called to the scene in Kimbolton, in Leominster, at 10.50am yesterday (December 13), said a spokesperson for Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service.

The fire service received reports of an animal trapped.
Crews found a 13-year-old horse stuck in the ditch when they arrived.
The horse was sedated by a local vet, but firefighters said it didn't survive. Strops and farming machinery were used to release the horse.
