An air ambulance was called after a car crashed into the wall of a bridge in Herefordshire today.
It happened on the B4347 Bacton to Abbey Dore road.
The driver, a woman, was trapped inside the car and fire crews from Hereford and Ewyas Harold used cutting equipment and hydraulic gear to free her.
Critical care doctors were also at the scene.
The casualty was flown to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police later cleared the scene and were investigating the cause of the crash.
There was a separate crash on the B4224 at Mordiford bridge last night (Thursday).
The road was closed while police deal with the accident.
