A CHART-TOPPING DJ and music producer from Herefordshire has been reflecting on an incredible year which has seen him go on tour in America.
220 Kid, 220 Kid, who grew up in Weobley and has been championed by BBC Music Introducing in Herefordshire and Worcestershire, said "what a ride" this year had been.
He posted the message to Instagram from a bunk on a tour bus after playing his first shows in America, something which he said was "really special".
He thanked everyone who has worked so hard to help him and keep the dream alive in the "hardest moments".
"Can’t wait to show you all what the next chapter is bringing," he said while having the "time of his life" on tour in the US.
He shared a picture which showed his music had been streamed 141.5 million times on the music app Spotify by 27.3 million users in 183 countries.
The producer remixed Nathan Evans's viral sea shanty track with Billen Ted with Wellerman going on to top the charts in 2021.
A year before, his collaboration Don't Need Love with Gracey peaked at number nine.
The artist had been touring the UK with British-born Norwegian DJ, YouTuber and record producer Alan Walker.
"I’ve had the time of my life," 220 Kid said after the tour.
He added: "Thank you to the whole team you’ve been absolutely wonderful and welcomed me in.
"Thank you to the fans I’ve met and the new fans I’ve made."
