POLICE are trying to track down a person who appeared to break CCTV cameras in Hereford.

West Mercia Police shared pictures of who they said was a man they want to speak to.

But people on social media were quick to point out it perhaps looked more like a woman.

Bryan Rees said it "looks like a woman", with Ken Ellsum adding it is "definitely a woman".

Police said the damage was in the Whitecross area of the city, with the pictures showing the person with a wooden stick.

They are holding it up while looking directly into the camera while wearing black clothing, a black snood covering half their face and a black Nike cap.

There also appeared to be a phone in their top pocket on their jacket, with headphones plugged in.

Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101.
