RIVER levels are down in Hereford this morning after flooding hit the county over the weekend.
Flood alerts are still in force for the Arrow, Lugg, Leadon catchment, and Wye in Herefordshire, with the Environment Office warning flooding is possible in these areas.
Three Herefordshire flood warnings for the river Wye were removed yesterday (January 9).

Pictures show the river under the Old Bridge and Greyfriars Bridge in Hereford is back within its banks.
On Monday the footpath under Greyfriars was flooded along with the grounds of the Rowing Club, but this morning both were clear.
Mud was still left behind from the flood water on parts of the footpath.

Debris has also gathered under the Old Bridge. At the end of November as river levels rose, Greyfriars Flood Group said there were concerning levels of debris blocking flow through Hereford Old Bridge, especially to upstream residents, in the same place.
Heavy rain is hitting Wales today (January 10), with The Met Office issuing a yellow weather warning for rain for Wales up to the Herefordshire border.
The warning covers the course of the river Wye in Wales and is in force from 6am to 8pm today.
