RUGS and carpets are among the items to have been dumped in and around a Hereford car park as fly-tippers strike.
Coun Cat Hornsey, who represents Hinton and Hunderton for Hereford City Council, said a large amount of rubbish had been dumped near Hereford Leisure Pool.
She said it was along St Martin's Avenue and had been reported.

Herefordshire Council says people who spot fly-tippers in the act should make a note of any vehicle used, including model, colour and registration number. If it is safe to do so without being seen, they should take a photograph or video.
They should note the fly-tippers' clothes, and distinguishing features, as well anything that was said and the speakers' accents.
Fly-tipping can be reported on the Herefordshire Council website.
