CHILDREN at a primary school in rural Herefordshire have had a snowball fight, with more forecast by the Met Office.
Pictures show the children at Michaelchurch Escley Primary School, in the Golden Valley, having fun and enjoying the snow which they woke up to on Wednesday morning (January 18).
Deputy headteacher Gary Crocker said that despite some fairly heavy snow overnight, pretty much all the children and all the staff made it up to school this morning.

The Met Office said showers will affect the warning area, falling as a mix of rain and hail near coasts, and sleet and snow inland at times, mainly overnight.
"This will lead to some temporary snow accumulations at low levels, whilst higher ground of Northern Ireland and Wales in particular, could see a further 2-5 cm of snow," the Met Office said.
Forecasters warned that ice will be the hazard for most parts of the warning area.
