A HEREFORDSHIRE man has been ordered to undergo a drug treatment programme after failing to turn up to court-ordered appointments.
Daniel Paul Wood admitted one count of failing to comply with the requirements of a community order when he appeared before magistrates in Kidderminster in January.

The court heard from the prosecutor that the 43-year-old had failed without reasonable excuse to comply with the requirements of a community order made by magistrates in Hereford on June 1 last year by failing to turn up to supervision appointments he had been instructed to attend by his supervising officer on November 24 and December 1.
Wood, who is of Ridgemoor Road in Leominster had then failed to provide acceptable evidence to cover the absence within five working days, the court was told.
Magistrates varied the order previously imposed, and Wood must now undergo a six-month drug dependency treatment programme with Turning point by the end of his order.
