The 40-year-old is accused of, without reasonable excuse, using intimidating behaviour towards a female member of staff at Merkur Slots in Hereford's Commercial Street.
He is prohibited from behaving in such a manner by a criminal behaviour order made by magistrates at Hereford's Bath Street Justice Centre on September 22, 2021.
The case was adjourned and Newton, who is of Whitecross Road and who was represented by defence solicitor Marilena Di Vitantonio, was released on bail with a condition not to enter Merkur Slots in Hereford.
He will appear before magistrates in Hereford next for trial on February 13.
