AN ACCUSED takeaway delivery driver has been sent for trial over allegations he harassed a man in Hereford.
Ovidiu Baltaret entered a guilty plea to one count of using threatening, abusive, or insulting words or behaviour and not guilty pleas to one count of using threatening or abusive words or behaviour and one count of harassment without violence when he appeared before magistrates in Hereford.
The court heard from prosecutor Mark Hambling that the 33-year-old takeaway delivery driver had used threatening, abusive, or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause harassment, alarm, or distress to a man in Hereford on August 21.

He is accused of using threatening, or abusive words or behaviour within the sight or hearing of a person likely to be caused harassment, alarm or distress in Hereford on September 26, and of pursuing a course of conduct which amounted to the harassment of a man in Hereford's Blueschool Street and Broad Street on August 21 and September 26.
The case was sent for trial and Baltaret, who is of Portland Street in Hereford, was released on unconditional bail.
He will appear before magistrates in Hereford for trial on March 2.
