A HEREFORDSHIRE woman has been sentenced after admitting assault and criminal damage charges.
Claire Jordan appeared before magistrates in Hereford for sentencing after entering guilty pleas to two charges of causing criminal damage to property valued under £5,000 and one of assaulting a person by beating when she appeared before magistrates in Hereford at an earlier hearing in December.

The court heard that the 32-year-old defendant had assaulted a woman by beating in Hereford on October 23.

She had also, without lawful excuse, caused £403 worth of damage to a car wing mirror and door panels belonging to another person, and damaged the assault victim's dress, intending to destroy or damage them or being reckless as to whether they were destroyed or damaged in Hereford on October 23.
Jordan, of Westfields Close in Bromyard, was fined £200 for the offences, with magistrates saying they had taken her guilty pleas into account when deciding on the penalty.
She was also ordered to pay compensation of £100 to the assault victim and £403 to the car owner, and must pay costs of £135 and an £80 victim surcharge.
