A HEREFORDSHIRE couple have marked 50 years of marriage by renewing their vows with a celebration at their local pub.
Gwyneth and Brian Jones were married on February 10, 1973.
The couple, who first got together in their teens, have both lived in Lugwardine all their lives, with Mrs Jones having lived in the same house since she was two days old.
The couple later bought the house from her mother.
"We have seen lots of changes over the years, but our local pub, the Crown and Anchor, has been a great place for get-togethers and as a social hub," Mrs Jones said.

Mrs Jones said she really wanted to mark the achievement with a vow renewal, and the couple's ceremony was led by celebrant Mark Townsend.
On the secret of a long and happy marriage, the couple said they always talk, and never go to bed on an argument.
"We tell each other we love each other, and it's important to be tolerant and work things out," Mr Jones said.
