A SELECTION of top-rated films, and one shot just over the Herefordshire border, will be shown at a film festival in Herefordshire and surrounding counties.
Among the 65 films scheduled for this year's Borderlines Film Festival are a clutch of Oscar- and Bafta nominated movies – and a film, Inland, shot in the Forest of Dean and starring Mark Rylance.
Leading the pack is the Banshees of Innisherin with nine Oscar nods and 10 Bafta nominations. The festival, the largest rural film festival in the UK, has also programmed three of the five films nominated for best International Film – The Quiet Girl, Close and EO.
