WE’VE reach a point in our city and county’s history where our local councillors won’t accept the city of Hereford needs a bypass.
The time has come for a county-wide referendum where we choose for ourselves if we should and any future councillors should be bound by that result.
OTHER LETTERS:
- Hereford's traffic now is worse than before the new bridge was built
- Green plans for Herefordshire offer 'much to celebrate'
- Hereford's traffic is a nightmare – and Lidl will make it even worse
We can’t accept being force-fed a cycle/public transport system without directly asking the general public for their opinion, regardless of party affiliation about a bypass.
No more procrastination, no more lies. Ask the public directly and follow through regardless.
