THE BBC is forecasting snow for Herefordshire next week, with the weather set to turn a lot colder as we head into March.
Heading into next week, the BBC forecast shows it will turn colder as a northerly airflow develops.
It shows that next Thursday, March 9, the county will be hit with a band of sleet and snow.
For most parts it is likely to fall as sleet throughout the day on Thursday, but parts of the county, such as Kington could see more than seven hours of snow.

At midday on Thursday (March 2), the forecast said the town could expect snow between 10am and midday in a week's time, with sleet throughout the afternoon.
It will then turn back to snow at around 5pm, falling until 11pm.
The long-range forecast for the UK from the Met office, coverage March 6 to March 15, said: "This period is expected to be characterised by winds from the north bringing cold conditions to most areas.
"This will most likely result in wintry showers across northern and eastern areas, these turning to more organised bands of snow at times.
"Under this regime, many other areas are likely to remain dry with some sunshine, the best of this across inland areas and in the south and west of the UK.
"During the later part of the period confidence decreases significantly, however there is a risk of some milder and wetter weather pushing into the south from the Atlantic, meaning spells of rain will become more likely across the country.
"Temperatures overall will be below average but may gradually trend up through the period."
While the Met Office said England had its driest February in 30 years according to provisional figures, the Uk also had its joint fifth mildest February on record in a series which goes back to 1884.
