HEREFORDSHIRE has yet another milkshake vending machine as another farm opens one in the county.
The dairy farm in Lyonshall has joined the ranks of farmers cutting out the middleman to maximise the price they get for their milk.
Jane and Nick Layton, who farm Park Gate Farm with their son Huw, have installed a vending machine at the Red Lion in Pembridge, near Leominster, offering pasteurised milk and a selection of milkshakes, with eggs also available from the farm's 18,000 chickens.

Wholy Cow joins other Herefordshire dairy farmers – Merrivale in Little Birch and Whole Moo World in Bodenham – in providing milk and shakes 24 hours a day, seven days a week, from vending machines in rural locations.
"We sell gently pasteurised whole milk full of goodness from our fourth generation family farm at the foot of the Welsh hills," Wholy Cow said.
"Produced from grass-fed Fleckvieh cows, which have the freedom to milk as they choose by our robots Ben and Jerry."
Current flavours include strawberry, banana, chocolate, salted caramel, white chocolate and vanilla, with free-range eggs and whole pasteurised milk also available.
