POLICE are treating a fatal caravan fire in the Forest of Dean as "unexplained".
Gloucestershire Constabulary said a person was found dead inside a car which was found on fire in Newent.
Officers were at the scene, in the Horsefair Lane area, on Monday (March 22).

A spokesperson said police were called shortly after 10pm on Sunday (March 21) with a report of a fire and emergency services attended.
A caravan was found alight and one person was confirmed deceased.
They said formal identification was yet to take place and the death is being treated as unexplained.
"There is an ongoing investigation to establish what has happened and anyone with information who has not already spoken to police is asked to provide information online by completing the following form and quoting incident 414 of March 19.
"You can also call police on 101."
Newent is just over the border into Gloucestershire, less than 10 miles from Ross-on-Wye.
