WHAT a poor train service from Hereford to Manchester Piccadilly on Transport for Wales!
I was among countless unfortunates last Friday who were on the 10.56am from Hereford to Manchester Piccadilly.
The train was made up of two carriages and when it arrived from Milford Haven via Cardiff and Newport it was absolutely rammed. Standing room only.

Suitcases in all the gangways such that a young mum with a child in a pushchair struggled to get out of the train at Church Stretton.
At Shrewsbury, the station staff asked for standing passengers to make room for others to get on the train. So this service travels more than 220 miles and is run by TfW, funded by the Welsh Government.

It was like something from India in the 1960s.
It was so overcrowded it was unsafe I registered a complaint on TfW’s website while on the train. I haven’t even received an acknowledgement. I will make this journey in the car next time.
