THE case against an accused Herefordshire man has been dropped.
Ian Pipe appeared before magistrates in Kidderminster in March accused of one count of sending a letter or communication conveying a threatening message after entering a not guilty plea to the charge at an earlier hearing.
The court heard from the prosecutor that the 57-year-old was accused of sending voicemails and text messages which conveyed a threat for the purpose of causing distress or anxiety to a police officer in Leominster berween October 12 and 31 last year.
The case against Pipe, of Sunningdale in Leominster, was discontinued.
