AN ABUSIVE Hereford man has been ordered to carry out unpaid work after two incidents.
Ovidiu Baltaret appeared before magistrates in Hereford in March accused of two counts of using threatening, abusive, or insulting words or behaviour.
The 33-year-old entered guilty pleas to both charges.
Prosecutor Melanie Winterflood told the court that Baltaret had used threatening, abusive, or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause a man harassment, alarm, or distress in Hereford on August 21.

He had also used threatening, abusive, or disorderly words or behaviour within the hearing or sight of a person likely to be caused harassment, alarm, or distress in Hereford on September 26.
Baltaret, of Portland Street, Hereford, was handed a 12-month community order with 120 hours unpaid work, with magistrates saying that they had taken his guilty pleas into account when imposing the penalty.
He was also ordered to pay compensation of £100, prosecution costs of £135, and a £114 victim surcharge, which is used to help fund services supporting victims of crime.
