An engagement ring is believed to have been stolen in a village on the Herefordshire border.
Police think a man picked up the ring from the car park of the GP’s surgery in Knightwick, near Bromyard, but made no attempt to find the owner.
Officers have described the man as wearing a black beanie hat, grey jacket and blue jeans, and say he has a goatee-style beard.
“The male has been seen picking up what we believe to be the ring in question from the car park of the Knightwick Surgery and made no attempt to hand it into any local premises,” said a spokesperson for West Mercia Police.
“There were no other cars in the surgery car park at the time so we believe he arrived/left on foot. The incident happened on March 28 at about 9.30am.
“If anyone has any CCTV near the area or any information that could help, please could you contact the Kempsey and Alfrick SNT at ka.snt@westmercia.police.uk.”
