QUICK intervention prevented an agricultural building from spreading in the Golden Valley.
Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service were called to a property near Dorstone just after 9.10pm last night (Wednesday).
However, crews said that the fire could have been worse.

Writing on its Facebook page, Peterchurch Fire Station said: "Thanks to a local resident the fire located in a lambing shed was quickly identified and with the use of a hose reel jet we tackled it and extinguished it quickly before it got out of hand and caused extensive damage.
"Had such rapid intervention not taken place it would have quickly spread to adjacent barns, properties and machinery. Make sure to check electrical wiring is safe and the risk to your property is low."
