A HEREFORDSHIRE woman was almost four times the drink-drive limit when she hit a parked car at The Oval in Hereford, a court has heard.
Paula Calvert-Garner entered guilty pleas to one count of failing to stop after a road accident, one count of driving without a licence, and one count of driving while over the alcohol limit when she appeared before magistrates in Hereford in March.
Police were called to the scene of a crash involving Calvert-Garner, who had been behind the wheel of an Alfa Romeo Mito at The Oval in Belmont Road, Hereford, at around 8pm on February 27, prosecutor Eleanor Peart said.
A witness told officers that Calvert-Garner's windows had been misted up and that she had hit a parked car before driving over a kerb and onto the grass beside the road.

Calvert-Garner, who was previously disqualified from driving in 2014, was arrested, and checks revealed that her driving licence was expired.
An evidential breath test revealed that she had 138 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, just shy of four times the legal limit of 35.
Chris Read, for 56-year-old Calvert-Garner, said that the magistrates had been given a number of references for Calvert-Garner and that the offence spoke for itself.
"She was driving very slowly, hit a parked car, and went on for a very short distance, less than 100 metres," Mr Read said.
"She is then stopped by someone taking her keys and then the police came.

Mr Read said there was "clearly a background" to the offence.
"She has not in the past accepted that she is alcohol dependant, and perhaps this is something that could and should have been addressed years ago," he said.
"This is the first time she has accepted her situation and the help that is on offer. She is seeking help."
Calvert-Garner, of Winnal, Herefordshire, was fined £25 and received an 18-month community order with a six-month alcohol treatment requirement.
She was also disqualified from driving for 48 months and ordered to pay a £114 victim surcharge.
