HORSES were evacuated as firefighters from four stations battled a blaze in Herefordshire last night.
Fire crews from Malvern, Ledbury, Leominster and Bromyard were called to battle a fire in a large single-storey outhouse building at Pow Green, between Bosbury and Cradley, at 7.17pm last night.
A spokesperson for Leominster fire station said they were called with their water carrier to help by providing water supply.

"Crews worked hard to get on top of this incident, cooling acetylene cylinders that were involved in the fire whilst dealing with other flammable substances present," the spokesperson said.
"Nearby horses were also moved from any potential hazards by our animal rescue crew from Bromyard.
"Our water carrier can bring a vital 8,000 litres of water to rural incidents like this, where the nearest water hydrant was nearly one kilometre away from the fire."
A Ledbury fire station spokesperson said crews were informed on arrival that the fire involved acetylene, which poses an extra danger due to its explosive nature.
"Great care was taken to minimise risk and crews were able to bring the fire under control quickly under difficult circumstances," the spokesperson said.
"Crews remained on site till around 11pm to damp down the area and a further inspection took place around 1am to make sure there were no signs of reignition."
