A MAN caught with a knife in Hereford will be sentenced next month.
Christopher Joyce entered guilty pleas to one charge of causing criminal damage and one of possessing a knife blade or sharp, pointed article in a public place when he appeared before magistrates in Kidderminster in April.
The court heard from prosecutor Valerie Hart that the 37-year-old had, without lawful excuse, damaged three windows, a bath, and wall tiles worth a total of £1,047 and belonging to another man in Hereford on January 1.

Joyce, who was represented at the hearing by defence solicitor Mark Sheward, had also been in possession of a steak knife without good reason or lawful authority in Hereford's St John Street on January 1, the court heard.
The case was adjourned for a pre-sentencing report to be carried out by the probation service and Joyce, of Eign Road, Hereford, was released on unconditional bail.
He will appear before magistrates in Hereford for sentencing on May 9.
