AN ACCUSED Hereford man has been sent for trial after denying one charge of sexual assault.
Jordan Ellis appeared before magistrates in Kidderminster in April accused of one count of sexual assault on a female.
The court heard from Crown Prosecution Service prosecutor Valerie Hart that the 25-year-old defendant is alleged to have intentionally sexually touched a woman aged 16 or over when she did not consent and when he did not reasonably believe that she was consenting in Hereford on October 8.

Ellis, who was represented at the hearing by defence solicitor Andrew Cleal, entered a not guilty plea to the charge.
The case was sent for trial and Ellis, of Withypool, Hereford, was released on conditional bail ahead of his next hearing.
He will appear before magistrates in Hereford for trial on June 22.
