A HEREFORDSHIRE man was nearly three times over the drink-drive limit when he was caught on an A-road.
Richard Haycocks, from Leasdown, Burghill, pleaded guilty to driving a motor vehicle when the alcohol level was above the limit when he appeared at Hereford Magistrates Court yesterday (Wednesday).
The court heard the 53-year-old had 91 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath when he was stopped on the A4103 Roman Road in Hereford on March 17. The legal limit is 35 micrograms.

She added that he accepts the prosecution's account and apologises for his misbehaviour. Haycocks was handed a two-year driving disqualification and fined £666.
He also has to pay court costs of £135 and a £266 surcharge.
