A HEREFORD man has appeared in court charged with a number of child sex offences.
Jason Quaid, aged 49, of Muir Close, Newton Farm, only confirmed his name and address during a short hearing at Hereford Magistrates Court.

He is charged with the following offences:
- Three counts of making an indecent photograph/pseudo-photograph of a child between February 24, 2022 and 22 July, 2022
- Possessing a prohibited image of a child on March 8, 2022
- Attempting to cause a child under 13 to watch/look at an image of sexual activity between July 5, 2022 and July 25, 2022
- Attempting to cause a child aged 13 to 15 to watch or look at an image of sexual activity between July 24, 2022 and July 25, 2022
- Attempting to cause or incite a girl aged 13 to 15 to engage in sexual activity between July 24, 2022 and July 25, 2022
- Attempting to engage in sexual communication with a child between July 24, 2022 and July 25, 2022
Quaid was granted unconditional bail to appear at Worcester Crown Court on May 24.
