A TEENAGER has been sent to the crown court after admitting offences including racially aggravated public order offences.

Daniel Biddle had entered guilty pleas to two counts of using threatening, abusive, or insulting words or behaviour and two counts of racially or religiously aggravated intentional harassment, alarm, or distress when he appeared before magistrates in Kidderminster in March.

The court heard from prosecutor Eleanor Peart that the 19-year-old had used threatening, abusive, or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause two police officers harassment, alarm, or distress in Leominster on March 26.

OTHER NEWS:

He had also used racially aggravated threatening, abusive, or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause two further police officers harassment, alarm, or distress in Leominster on the same date, the court heard.

The case was adjourned and Biddle, of Foster Crescent, Leominster, was ordered to appear before Kidderminster magistrates for sentencing in April.

But a district judge on April 24 ordered the case to be committed to the crown court for sentencing.

Biddle was released on unconditional bail and will appear before Worcester Crown Court for sentence on May 19.
