A HEREFORDSHIRE campsite has been named as one of the best in the UK by a leading booking platform.

Outdoor accommodation booking platform Pitchup.com, which saw some two million holidaymakers booking stays at the 2,369 sites listed on its website in the UK in the past year, has revealed its top-ranked sites across the UK.

Based on more than 159,000 customer reviews in 2022, with ratings for aspects like location, value for money, quality of accommodation, activities and cleanliness, guests awarded 70 per cent of all UK sites listed on the platform in 2022 an overall score of eight out of 10 and above.

To be considered in the review awards, sites must have a minimum of 20 reviews, and are scored out of ten.

And, with an impressive score of 10 out of 10 overall, Ewyas Harold's Hollingwood Farm took third place in the Central England region.
