SO Sir Bill Wiggin objects to the jailing of environmental vandal John Price.
It must come as a great surprise to his constituents that he must have been present on every day of Price’s trial so that he could understand the legal nuances. I’m sure he would not be so unwise as to make his opinion known without doing so.
I make a point of not commenting on judicial verdicts, even when they seem bizarre.

Three years for Just Stop Oil protesters trying to save the planet, one year for a man whose actions will take 50 years to repair. Ah, well.
It seems Sir Bill is now a greater expert on conservation than the Environment Agency.
I thought his forte was helping rich people avoid tax through companies in the Caribbean.
Fortunate, because when his constituents kick him out he can quickly find a new job with the EA... as long as he brings his own waders.
