A MAN from Leominster has admitted to stealing alcohol from two shops in the town.
Steven Daniels, of Ryelands Road, pleaded guilty to five counts of theft from a shop when he appeared at Hereford Magistrates Court.
The court heard that, between February 19 and February 22, the 32-year-old stole alcohol to the value of £22.50 on three separate occasions from the Co-Op. Further thefts of alcohol happened at the same shop on March 10 and March 21, while on the latter date, Daniels also stole alcohol from Savers.

Chris Reid, representing Daniels, said that his client has previous convictions and relapsed after attending an alcohol rehabilitation course.
The case has been adjourned until May 23 for a pre-sentence report to be carried out. Daniels was granted bail on the condition that he did not enter either the Co-Op or Savers.
