- Herefordshire farmer John Price was appealing his 12 month custodial sentence
- However, no verdict was reached today (Friday) at Hereford Justice Centre - the case has been adjourned until Wednesday (May 17) where it will be heard in Worcester
- Price, aged 68, from Kingsland, was jailed for causing 'wanton damage' to the river Lugg in the village
- He was also ordered to pay £600,000 prosecution costs and contribute towards the restoration of the river
- Price was also disqualified from being a company director for three years
