A THIEF has been handed a conditional discharge after stealing hundreds of pounds worth of goods from a Hereford shop.
Genadus Kleins entered a guilty plea to one count of theft from a shop when he appeared before magistrates in Hereford in May.
The court heard from prosecutor Mark Hambling that the 23-year-old defendant had stolen a variety of electronic items from the Tiger shop in Hereford's Old Market shopping centre on March 10.

The total value of the goods he had stolen was £230, magistrates were told.
Kleins, of Cornewall Street, Hereford, was handed a 12-month conditional discharge for the offence, with magistrates saying that they had taken his guilty plea into account when coming to their decision.
He was also ordered to pay compensation of £230 to the shop, prosecution costs of £100, and a £26 victim surcharge, which is used to help fund services supporting victims of crime.
