A HEREFORDSHIRE man has been locked up after breaking his restraining order on the day it was imposed by a court.

The court heard from the prosecutor that the 56-year-old had been made subject to a restraining order banning him from an address in Hereford by magistrates in Kidderminster on May 14.
But he had breached the order that same day by attending the address he was prohibited from visiting after his court hearing, magistrates were told.
Herefordshire man Jones, who is of no fixed address, was jailed for eight weeks for the offence, with magistrates saying they had taken his guilty plea into account when imposing the sentence.
