A DRUG-driver caught with a dodgy tyre in a busy Hereford street has been banned from the roads for three years.
Kane Hale entered guilty pleas to two counts of drug driving and one of using a vehicle with tyres with insufficient tread when he appeared before magistrates in Hereford.
The court heard from prosecutor Aleya Adams that the 29-year-old had been caught behind the wheel of a silver Ford Focus in Hereford's Bodenham Road on January 7.

An evidential breath test revealed that he had 32 microgrammes of controlled class A drug cocaine per litre of blood and 253 microgrammes of cocaine metabolite benzoylecgonine per litre of blood.
The respective legal limits are 10 and 50 microgrammes.
The rear offside tyre of his car was also found to have less than the legal limit of 1.6 millimetres of tread on the same date, the court heard.
Hale, of Hart Green, Cinderford, was disqualified from driving for three years and fined £400 for the offences. He was also ordered to pay prosecution costs of £135 and a £160 victim surcharge.
