SEVERN Waste Services and Herefordshire Council have offered their condolences after a man died at one of their tips.
Emergency services were called to Hereford Household Recycling Centre on Tuesday afternoon (May 16) after a man was in a critical condition.
However, despite their best efforts, he was declared dead at the scene.

The joint statement from Herefordshhire Council and Severn Waste Services reads
“Severn Waste Services and Herefordshire Council wish to extend our sincerest condolences to the family and friends of the member of the public who sadly passed away at Rotherwas Household Recycling Centre on 16th May.
“We would also like to thank all the staff at Rotherwas HRC for their empathy and professionalism and to the Healthcare workers who attended the incident.”
