A GAS leak has closed a busy street in the centre of a Herefordshire town.
The B4203 High Street is closed this morning (June 6) at the junction with Pump Street in Bromyard.
Signs are in place at the Broad Street junction with Sherford Street warning drivers that the road is closed ahead, with no turn into or out of Pump Street at present.

Teams from Cadent gas services are on scene, with the road being dug up by workers at the junction.
A worker at the scene said the road is likely to be closed for two days while they find and repair a gas leak in the area.
Businesses in the street remain open while works are ongoing, and a signed diversion route is in place in the town.
Herefordshire Council's roadworks map shows an emergency closure is in force in the street.
