I LIVE in Leominster, which is a bustling, busy town with a lot of independent shops and a vibrant local economy.
I was concerned to get a letter from Barclays saying that they are closing the Leominster branch in September of this year.

A lot of people do not like to use internet banking, some of us like to go to the branch to talk face-to-face with the staff. People come into the town to use the bank and then spend money in the local shops and cafes. There is very often a queue to use the counter-services.
Barclays suggest that their customers could use the branch in Hereford, which is farcical.
I deplore this decision by some faceless management team in London.
