A COACH has been destroyed by fire on a busy route between Hereford and Gloucester.
Fire crews from Ledbury, Hereford and Ross-on-Wye were called to the A449 at Preston Cross, near Ledbury, shortly before 12.30pm today (Wednesday).

Two hose reel jets, breathing apparatus and thermal image cameras were used to extinguish the fire, with the coach reported as being well alight.
A spokesperson for Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service said that all passengers have been accounted for, and dampening down has started.
At just after 1.25pm, one lane of the A449 had reopened.
