A HEAVY goods vehicle reportedly hit the Vodafone shop in Ross-on-Wye this morning (Monday).
Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service were called shortly after 9am to a report of a dangerous structure.
A spokesperson said: “A Ross-on-Wye Fire Station crew attended a shop on Broad Street to find one large piece of wood sticking out into the roadway.

“The damage to the first floor of the building was believed to have been caused by a passing heavy goods vehicle.
“The crew used a triple extension ladder and small tools to make the scene safe by removing timber and lead cladding.
“There were no casualties and hazards included passing traffic.
“Advice was given to the occupiers and the crew left the scene at 9.39am.”
