AN ATTACKER caused actual bodily harm to a woman in an assault in Hereford, a court has heard.
Ashley Powell was found guilty of one count of assault occasioning actual bodily harm when he appeared before magistrates in Hereford in June after entering a not guilty plea at an earlier hearing in January.
The court heard from prosecutor Mark Hambling that the 39-year-old had assaulted a woman, causing her actual bodily harm, in an incident in Hereford on February 26 last year.

Powell, of Grandstand Road, Hereford, was handed a two-year community order and ordered to carry out 100 hours of unpaid work. He must also complete a 30-day Building Better Relationships programme.
He was also handed a two-year restraining order banning him from contacting the victim directly or indirectly.
He was also ordered to pay prosecution costs of £300 and a £114 victim surcharge.
