TODAY (Tuesday) is the last day that HSBC will be open in Ross-on-Wye, meaning that the town will only have three banks.
Last November, it was announced that 114 branches would be closing across the country. This included Leominster, which shut on April 23, and Ross.

HSBC said that more people were choosing online banking over using a physical branch to do their banking and that people visiting has dropped by 65 per cent over the course of five years.
However, with Barclays also closing last year, it means that Ross has now only has Santander, Lloyds and Nationwide in the town.
