A WOMAN smashed a glass at her now ex-partner at a Hereford bar, a court has heard.
Coleen Jones, aged 23, of Lewis Way, Peterchurch, admitted to assaulting Ryan Thomson, causing actual bodily harm, when she appeared at Hereford Magistrates Court on Wednesday (June 21).
Owen Beale, prosecuting at the court, said that Jones and Mr Thomson were involved in an argument while sat at a table at Hogarths in Commercial Road on March 17.

"Her hand came up and and hit the glass, with it smashing in the face of the man," said Mr Beale.
"The glass was left smashed in pieces. She started to exit and turned in the direction of the toilets. She went back and saw the man man bleeding heavily.
"He had a gash of 15mm across his nose."
In defence, Andrew Cleal said that it was 'an absolute one-off'.
"She accepts that it was not what she wanted to happen," he said.
"She acted out, and it was a completely inappropriate thing to do on the day."
Jones was handed a 12 month community order, of which 15 days will be dedicated to focus on various issues, such as anger and alcohol use.
She will also have to pay Mr Thomson £400 in compensation.
