A WOMAN was treated for burn injuries sustained by a caravan fire at Bringsty Common, near Bromyard.
Two Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue (HWFRS) crews from Bromyard Fire Station, as well as the water carrier from Leominster, were called to Bringsty Common shortly before 11.15pm last night (Wednesday) and spent nearly two hours at the scene.
A HWFRS spokesperson said: "A caravan was well alight and the fire was extinguished by two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus and using one hose reel jet.

“A thermal imaging camera was also deployed. A propane cylinder was removed and vented.
“One female casualty in her 60s was treated for burns to her hands by fire service personnel."
A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service added: "We were called by the fire service to an incident at Bringsty Common just before 11.50pm.
"However, shortly after, we were stood down by fire colleagues as we were no longer required on scene."
