A HEREFORD man who failed to turn up to court-ordered appointments has been back up before the magistrates.
Joab Smith admitted one count of failing to comply with the requirements of a community order when he appeared before magistrates in Hereford in May.
The court heard from the probation service that the 37-year-old had been made subject to a community order by magistrates in Kidderminster on January 21.

He had been instructed by his supervising officer to attend initial supervision appointments on January 31 and February 7, but had failed without reasonable excuse to do so, the court heard.
He had then failed to provide acceptable evidence to cover his absences within five working days.
The order was varied and Smith, of Bulmer Avenue, Hereford, was ordered to participate in any activity as required by his supervising officer up to a maximum of five days.
No order for prosecution costs was made due to Smith's limited means.
